Resume/Interview

1. Well, the summary is the basic structure of resume actually, and also what you should and wouldn't do on a resume. Also, gives some tips about writing a resume for example, if you don't have enough experience they give you some points to help you out. But, what I think of the blog is the pointers that they give out I think it's pretty useful. Couple of other things too was actually good like what to included kinda of helpful.

2. This site gives you specific guidelines about writing a resume. Also, this site is for beginners who are writing their first cover letter, but I recommed others sites to check out as well. Also, gives out specific example if you are applying for that field. My thoughts on this site well it's not very useful, but it's does give you some good examples if you are beginner. Also, gives out good guildelines for towards the end of the page I thought that was good.

3. This site gives you everything on resume and does very well with it too. Also, gives you a brief summary on the resume. Lists of bullets points on what you should just in keep for contract information or other information. At the end gives you what questions to ask. I really enjoy this site because gives you everything.

1. "Not all those who wonder are lost."

I really like this quote because it's true not everyone is lost, but some have a hard time finding the right path in life. Some wonders aren't lost because they know there way around places able to figure it out. Or sometimes the wonder is the one who is lost, but actually knows the right way but can't picture it in this head something clouding this mind. But, I think it's means to me is that not everyone is lost and able to find there way to success. Pretty good quote too.

 2. "I have to be kind of artist to create."

3."Creativity is connecting the unconnected"

What does this quote mean to me is creativity is thinking with imagination meaning it's unconnected with reality I'm just making a guess on it. But, this quote is quite good in some way. That what I think of it actually.

Lab 2.2- ESFJ - "The Supporter"

The code that I got was ESFJ the name that is given is "The Supporter or The Caregiver" Ah, I kinda of agree with the code and meaning. Which means taking care of others and very good protector which I'm pretty good at. But, I'm pretty sure in the middle with the whole thing. It's said I was a very loyal friend in one of the links that is true, and family member. Extravert don't agree with because not sure a people, but don't get me wrong I'm love helping people out and outgoing.

But, my experience with the personality test I kinda rush through the whole thing well some of the questions I did, and others couldn't care less. But, the some surprise with the test is that Donald Duck, is actually ESFJ that was pretty neat. I'm actually fan of him, and one other one too someone from Harry Potter series too. I had a fun time with it I wish I took my time but it's okay. Also, give few career choices like teaching or other career.

Lab.2 Cover Letters Tips/Sites

1. http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Cover-Letter

This site explains what the professor was saying, and this sites gives a lot of information on writing on a good cover letter. There's also a few tips that the site gives you to improve your cover letter, plus warning as well and other stuff like videos.  Also, this websites gives out sample cover letters to look at. But, watch the video kinda  goes into more details with the cover letter so many sections too. It's also edited too so, careful, but great and useful advice like researching your company and more, but check it out!

What I personally think of this sites very useful advice and video is very helpful. It's goes more depth in the cover letter what to included or not. Also, the important think is too proofread it's very important, and this site kinda helps you on that I think it's great. Useful tips I got was keep it short and simple don't stretch out too two pages long, because the employers only look at it for 8-10 seconds.

2. http://www.michigan.gov/documents/CoverLetter_13348_7.pdf

This site is also very good because it's goes through the steps. Also, give you useful and interesting tips on the side of the page to help you with the cover letter. I personally think that this site is great, because it's explains everything for you and stuff. The useful advice that the site gives you is  "Address the letter to the contact
person or to the Human Resources Director."

3. https://www.training.nih.gov/assets/Writing_letters_for_faculty_jobs.pdf

Pretty good sites as well because it's goes into more important, but I feel like this site is the best one to look at to be honest with you. Gives you the elements on the letter too with the paragraphs and structure base. Also, gives you final tips too, but I think it's really good same with the first link. This site is cool and very informational too.

1.You Majored In What? three quotes.

Choosing three quotes:

1."Life is short, but it is wide." (pg.16)

The reason why I like this quote is because of different reasons. Life is extremely short if you are not doing anything with yourself, but you have a lot of doors opening up in your career. Life can be wide if you choose it to be actually. Life is short and sometimes you gonna make a decision fast, and really can't take your time in certain situations. But, this quote is very meaningful to me and sometimes help also.

2."You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star."- Friedrich Nietzsche (pg.1)

This quote is kinda of meaningful to me, because sometimes you do need chaos or something terrible in your life like myself. I think putting in this chaos can make others work on their career field. Something like this chaos thing is like prediction or something.

3."Let's get going---a butterfly awaits." (pg.14)

I personally like this quote because very meaningful in some way actually. It's kinda like saying something awaits you along the path of success. There was a quote in the being saying the exact same thing. Maybe there are other meaning to this quote, but I think it's saying that a job in your field is waiting for before it's too late. Explain being a butterfly doesn't stay on a flower too long it's leaves after doing it's business.

Lab 1- Works value test.

Well, my scores was pretty good for the most part. But, according to this survey my highest scores that I receive was,

15- Creativity
15- Achievement
15- Security
15- Altruism

What I think of this work value test I took it was pretty great actually, and I wasn't expecting these four traits to be the highest. I was kinda of shock to see that as well, and I know this reflects on me  a lot towards my career path I chosen. But, I think is the most important is security because of family and also being fired as well. Another important that I love the most is altruism because I feel helping others it's really good, and helps yourself to become better person and sociable in the career field. I really had to think about this out actually my brain was out of control not really though, but it's was awesome experience.
